Spa Space Policy Reminders: New & Old
Hello Spa Space Clients & Spa Blog followers!
We thought that it might be helpful to create a list of both new and old Spa Space policies so that you are prepared for each step of your Spa Space experience, from booking the appointment to leaving gratuity for your technician. Hopefully, this blog will serve to clarify and remind you of some of these policies, so that you feel completely informed and ready to enjoy your spa treatments!
PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
If you are new to Spa Space, we request that you plan on arriving 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment time. If you will be receiving your first Spa Space massage or facial, we have a quick intake form for you to fill out, which will allow us to customize your service based on your needs and goals. We also invite all of our clients who will be receiving massages, facials and/or treatment packages to get comfortable by changing into a robe and sandals before their services. Arriving 15 minutes ahead of time will ensure that you can fill out your intake form, change and store your belongings, and begin your service on time.
ALL APPOINTMENTS MUST BE HELD WITH A CREDIT CARD NUMBER
When you book your appointment, our front desk associates will ask you for a valid credit card number (and expiration date) in order to secure your appointment. We will NOT charge your credit card for any reason, unless you do not show up for your appointment, or if you cancel less than 24-hours in advance. We only hold this credit card information to guarantee that you understand our 24-hour cancellation policy, and that you will show up for your appointment or give us enough advance notice for cancellations and rescheduled appointments.
24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
We do require 24 hours notice for all appointment cancellations and rescheduled appointments. This policy is in place to protect our technicans & therapists, and our business. We are more worried about late cancellations and no shows affecting our technicians than the spa itself, but this policy is in place to protect both. **Please note that if you fail to cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full service price.**
GIFT CERTIFICATES & COUPONS
Our Spa Space gift certificates never expire. The disclaimer that you will see on the bottom of each gift certificate is to suggest that you use your gift certificate within one year, however, we will honor your gift certificates regardless of when you decide to redeem them.
We do accept Spa Finder certificates, Spa Space Spa Dollars, and Excitations gift cards towards payment. We do not accept Spa Week gift cards/certificates.

Wacker Construction and Parking Update
**Please note that due to the Wacker Drive Reconstruction Project, the availability of street parking along Canal Street can no longer be guaranteed. Also due to the reconstruction, there are various road closures that may affect your route to Spa Space. While Lake and Madison are both still open, the Randolph and Washington intersections are closed. Please allow extra time for your commute, especially around rush hour, in order to guarantee a timely arrival. For more information about parking and road closures, please visit www.wackerdrive.net
Valet parking is still available Monday through Saturday, and the rate is $11 for spa customers.
